It’s easy – here’s how it works

Simply complete one of the attached Member Referral Coupons and ask your family members, co-workers, neighbors and friends to bring the coupon into any People’s Community Federal Credit Union branch. Every person who joins earns you another $50 Thank You Bonus up to a total of $200!* How about your family, co-workers, neighbors and friends? They each get to experience a fresh approach to banking at your Credit Union and receive a $50 Welcome Bonus** thanks to you.

All the new member has to do to receive their $50 Welcome Bonus is to open a credit union savings account with a minimum $5 deposit and a checking account with a minimum deposit of $100. They will also need to register to receive their monthly statement electronically (e-statements); which helps the environment and is more safe and secure than the mail. The new member’s checking account must remain open, active, and in good standing for at least 90 days.**

* As an existing member of People’s Community Federal Credit Union (PCFCU), you’ll receive $50 for each person you refer who becomes a new PCFCU member (new member) and meets all account opening qualifications and the other requirements listed above and below. New member must be primary on new account and can not be joint owner on any existing PCFCU accounts. You can not be a joint owner on the new member’s new accounts.

 ** The new member’s $50 welcome bonus will be deposited immediately into their new savings account and will be released once the 90 day and other requirements are met. Active is defined as doing any one of the following during the 90-day period: 1) establishing a direct deposit to the checking account, 2) signing up for Free Bill Pay and doing at least 3 bill pay transaction; or 3) completing 10 debit card transactions of $10 or more (not including ATM transactions). You and the new member must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Limit one $50 Welcome Bonus per new member. Membership fee is waived during this promotion. Employees, and volunteers of PCFCU (and their families) are ineligible for referral bonuses. PCFCU reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time. Member referral bonuses are taxable dividends and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT for you and the new member.
